How It All Started
Spa City Collectibles is about a passion for collecting glass! After a series of store closings in the Capital District area of New York State, we were left with nowhere to get our glass fix within over a 100 mile radius. So, partners Jay Kabinoff and Aaron Bochniak decided to fill the void and turned their passion into a business... Spa City Collectibles was born!
In October 2009, Spa City Collectibles opened it's first of two locations inside the Ballston Spa Antique Center. In April 2010, a second location was added inside the Artique Co-op in Clifton Park, NY. We predominantly feature both new and old Fenton Art Glass, Mosser Glass and Peggy Karr Glass.
Along with Fenton and collecting comes a rich history. Fenton USA is a 105 year old, American company. To this day, it is still family-owned and operated. We're always looking for opportunities to learn new things about glass or a chance to share what we know. In an effort to promote Fenton and continually educate our passion, we're active members of NFGS (National Fenton Glass Society) and FAGCA (Fenton Art Glass Collectors of America) and are eager to get others involved, so let's talk!
